Hello, for a while now i am having issue saving my css file changes on the server.

1- What happen is, each time i get to the custom, all the changes done on the plsh-main-less.css comes back to the original file.

i could successfully remove the slash on the menu, change color’s, font etc then save the file. But once i go the customize or access the admin panel as editor, all my changes are no gone, the site comes back to previous settings. It’s really annoying, please give me a solution to this.

2- I will like to have the search on the top menu.

    Thanks.

    Hey,

First of all if you want to do style adjustments using CSS you can do this by using custom CSS field in theme settings (Polaris) or you can use child theme‘s style.css file. Also it is possible to do some small adjustments using “Site Origin CSS editor” plugin covered in this topic.

If you will change CSS files directly it may not work or changes will be overwritten while something will be changed in “customizer”. The thing is that theme is compiling CSS files from LESS, when you change something in “customizer” main CSS file is recompiled.

2- I will like to have the search on the top menu.

To reply on this I need to know which theme you are using. Also it would be easier to understand this if you would attach screenshot with notes.
