Using the built-in tools for styling
All Planetshine themes come with many color and font editing options that can be used to alter the way it looks and works. These option can be accessed by opening the Visual Editor in theme settings.
The Visual Editor displays the settings in sub menus that you can open and close to reveal the underlying settings. Whenever you edit a setting, the editor will refresh the page to show you the results of your changes. Using this editor you can easily change the way the theme looks and feels.
Advanced styling with CSS
In some cases it is required to make more fine tuned changes that can’t be done with Visual Editor alone. This is done by writing code in a styling language called CSS. If you know CSS you can use the Custom CSS box in theme settings to add new styling code to the website.
SiteOrigin CSS editor
Most users will find it easier to use a some tool to create the necessary styling code instead of coding it manualy. We suggest using SiteOrigin CSS plugin for WordPress. This plugin allows you to use a visual editor to select an element on your site and adjust it’s style using color pickers and other easy to use fields. The plugin page on wordpress.org has a introduction video that should help you to get up an running quickly.
