    Hey,

    I just spotted that the lower part of our menu as well as the lower part of the original Regolith isn’t displayed on tablets or small screens.
    Depending on how small the screen is sometimes the copyright an the social icons are visible and only e-mail, phone number and “about us” text above disappear. When the sreen is even smaller than a tablet, also copyright and social buttons disappear.
    That is a problem as we use the “about us” to display “terms and conditions” and other things, that must be visible all the time on German sides.
    So it would be ok if social buttons and copyright disappear and if necessary also phone number and mail but we really need the “about us”.

    Is there anything we can do?

    Hey,

    Can you please specify device brand and model on which you face these issues? Also please attach the screenshot where we can see this.

    Hey,

    this are the devices I had problems with:

    • Windows PC (Windows 10) with low screen solution (small browser window)
    • iPad Air

    In the attached PDF you can see the screen shots. I marked the type of device with a comment bubble.

    To make this clear. If there is not enough space to display items in main sidebar theme prevents from displaying footer elements. First in a row comes footer “About us text”, if this doesn’t help – footer is not displayed at all.

    Things which I can suggest to you:
    1. Remove one line break which comes after last link in “About us text”, because there are two line breaks.
    2. Decrease the space above the social buttons. This could by done by pasting this code to custom CSS box:
    .main-sidebar .footer .social { text-align: center; padding: 25px 0 0 0 !important; }
    Decrease value 25 according to your possibilities.
    3. Decrease spacing above and below Copyright text:
    .main-sidebar .footer .copyright { padding: 20px 0 0 0 !important; margin: 20px 0 20px 0 !important; }
    Decrease all 20’s.
    4. Force theme to prevent from displaying social icons instead of “About us text” first. To do this you will need to edit JavaScript code. Locate the file “wp-content/themes/regolith/theme/assets/js/theme.js”. Around line 660 you will find this code: var text = jQuery('.footer .widget-text');
    Replace it with this one var text = jQuery('.footer .social');
